Management Team

Cindy B. Taylor has served the company since 2000, first as Senior VP, CFO and Treasurer, then President and COO and now as President and CEO and a Class I director. Prior to Oil States, she was CFO of L.E. Simmons & Associates, a private equity firm specializing in oilfield service investments, the VP Controller of Cliffs Drilling Company, and she held various positions with Ernst & Young LLP. Mrs. Taylor is a director of Tidewater (NYSE: TDW), the world's largest operator of vessels serving the oil and gas industry. She holds a B.B.A. from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant.  

Christopher E. Cragg joined the company in 2001 and is now Senior VP of Operations. Prior to this he was VP of Tubular Services. Before Oil States, Mr. Cragg was Executive VP, CFO and then President of Sooner Inc., a predecessor of our company. He came to Sooner from Ocean Energy, an independent oil and gas exploration and production company, where he was VP and Controller. Previously Mr. Cragg served as Manager of Internal Audit with Cooper Industries, a diversified product manufacturer, and as a senior manager with Price Waterhouse, a public accounting firm. Mr. Cragg is director of Powell Industries (NASDAQ: POWL), an electrical equipment manufacturer.  He holds a B.B.A. from Southwestern University and is a Certified Public Accountant.  

Ron R. Green is President and CEO of PTI Group Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of our company. Prior to this he was VP of Premium Camp Services and then Senior VP and COO of PTI. Before joining PTI in 2004, Mr. Green was VP and General Manager of ESS Remote Site Services, a division of Compass Group PLC. His career is also highlighted by various senior executive positions in the accommodations industry.  

Robert W. Hampton joined the company in 2001 and is now Senior VP of Accounting and Corporate Secretary. Prior to this he was VP of Finance and Accounting and Secretary. Before Oil States, Mr. Hampton served as VP and CFO of HWC Energy Services, a predecessor of our company. He joined HWC from Tidewater Inc., an offshore service vessel operator, where he was Area Manager for North Sea Operations, based in Aberdeen. He came to Tidewater through its acquisition of Hornbeck Offshore, where he served as VP, Treasurer and CFO. Earlier in his career Mr. Hampton worked at Price Waterhouse, a public accounting firm. He holds a B.S. from the Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.  

Charles Moses joined our company in 1972 and has served as our Senior Vice President – Offshore Products since January 2010.  From 1996 until January, 2010, he served as Senior Vice President of the Engineered/Industrial Product Group within our Offshore Products segment, which includes many U.S. and all international locations within that business.   Starting with Oil States’ in 1972, he was subsequently promoted to Vice President of Special Products in 1981 and through 1995 he also held various managerial and executive positions, including Vice President of Research and Development.  

Bradley J. Dodson joined the company in 2001 and has served in several positions. He is now SVP, CFO and Treasurer, which succeeded his position as VP of Corporate Development. Prior to joining Oil States, Mr. Dodson held various positions at L.E. Simmons & Associates, a private equity firm specializing in oilfield service investments, and worked in the mergers and acquisitions group of Merrill Lynch.  Mr. Dodson holds a M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in economics from Duke University.  

Lias J. “Jeff” Steen serves as the Vice President of Human Resources and Legal for Oil States International.  A native of Cuero, Texas, Jeff Steen has been involved in the energy service business in various capacities since 1978, starting his career as a petroleum landman.  Mr. Steen spent 10 years with Camco International Inc. as Assistant General Counsel and General Counsel. Following Camco, Mr. Steen served for 5 years as the General Counsel for North America for Schlumberger, then 5 years at Grant Prideco as Vice President of Legal and Human Resources.  Mr. Steen is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a BS in Agricultural Economics and received his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law.
